Step/Round 1

Doug is attempting to quit smoking! I know... I know... Many of us, including me, thought this day would never come. But it has. It did take some "serious" talks, quite a bit of begging on my part, and a few mentions of picking out my next husband... :) I went to Target Saturday, bought him a box of patches, and told him to start using them. Step 1 or what I refer to as Round 1 has officially began. Even though he has the patches he still has the urge to smoke. Partially because of the habit/routine and partially because he prefers to get his nicotine that way. So we bought one of those e-cigarettes. It's "smokeless". Just a mix or water and nicotine. They advertise that they have no toxins and there is no second hand smoke. It will give him the habit/routine without all the harmful side affects. However, he still thinks he can wear the patch and smoke the e-cig all the time since he can "smoke" inside. Insert loooonnnggg siiigggghhh...!!Hopefully he will get in the right mindset and use the patches to kick the nicotine addiction and use the e-cig to wean himself off the habit. Wish him/us luck. He/We are going to need it!

Forgot to tell you!

Remember a few weeks ago when I was sick? Well apparently I had a cough medicine induced sleep walk.
Doug woke up and went to the bathroom to find the light on, pee pee in the toilet, and the tub water running (turned all the way up and as hot as it will go)! It freaked him out cause I was laying in the bed, sound asleep. He thought someone broke in and was trying to take a shower. Ha! Poor thing!
I do not recall any of it. I guess I took a little too much cough syrup that night. I must have "woke up", thought it was time to get ready for work (did I mention it was not a work day...), used the restroom and turned the shower on to get the water warm, then decided I wanted to take a nap... :)
Best part... pee pee in the toilet and no toilet paper. I wonder what I did with it?!?

A new Vols cheerleader is born

As most of you know, my good friend Sara had her first daughter, Addison, about a month ago. As soon as she told me she was having a girl I started picturing pink, tulle, and bows. Her first child was a boy and while I love him, girls are more fun to buy clothes for. And I much prefer to buy clothes over toys. Cause I mean really... me buy toys... for a kid... Yeah I would have a better chance of picking out the right jock strap than I would picking out the right toy. Everything has to be educational and it seems like all toys now and days are a death trap. Safe today but tomorrow they are issuing an alert on the news for a recall... Anyways, Sara hates pink. Let me rephrase that... Sara despises pink! So of course I wanted to get nothing but pink, frilly outfits for Ms. Addison. I bought her a newborn outfit and a couple of others for later on in year one but I wanted to get her another one that included a cute little tutu. Well, as time went on I got to thinking about how Trenton got a TN jersey with his name on the back of it. I decided that Addison needed something too for football season. I knew what I wanted but I could not find it so I turned to my friend Summer Maddox. She has her own children's clothing business called Baby Love's Sweet Cheeks Children's Boutique. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Baby-Loves-Sweet-Cheeks-Childrens-Boutique/188457387890175 I told her my idea and she was thrilled to make it for me. I wanted something girly (insert tutu), separates so she could wear them if it was cold or warm (insert onesie & pants), and it had to be TN colors.
And this is what she came up with...

Summer did an amazing job bringing my idea to life and she even shipped it straight to Sara for me. I cannot wait to see Ms Addison in her outfit this football season. I know she will be the envy of the baby squad!

Nakey Auburn

Auburn got a hair cut today. She is now bald compared to what she was. She was major over due for one!
